The National Worker Survey is conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor's Chief Evaluation Office in partnership with the Wage and Hour Division, the federal agency that promotes compliance with labor standards such as minimum wage and overtime pay. The main purpose of the survey is to learn more about where people work, what jobs they do, and how they are paid and to promote access to critical worker protections.
Your information will be kept confidential and used only for statistical and research purposes. Your answers will be combined with those of other participants, and only aggregate statistics will be reported. Your name and contact information will not be linked to your survey responses, and no personally identifying information will be shared with the Department of Labor or anyone else. Survey data will be stored in secure, password-protected systems that meet federal security requirements and will be protected using legal, procedural, technical, and statistical safeguards. All collected data will be disposed of in accordance with federal requirements.
